The Draft Nakuru Nutrition Policy provides a framework for coordinated action to improve the nutritional status and wellbeing of the population of Nakuru County. It addresses the prevention and management of malnutrition, promotion of appropriate maternal, infant and young child nutrition, food and nutrition security, community nutrition, and strengthening of nutrition services and interventions. As a draft policy, it provides a basis for stakeholder consultation, refinement, and eventual adoption.
